Sinceramente quest'anno gli Oscar mi hanno un po' deluso in quanto a vestiti... Le attrici di Hollywood potrebbero indossare un miliardo di abiti spettacolari e il più delle volte invece le vedi con cose davvero noiose. I loro stylist andrebbero lincenziati!!!

If I had to be honest Oscars' dresses, this year, have disappointed me a little bit... Hollywood actress could wear a billion of stunning gowns but, otherwise, most of times you see them with really boring stuff. Their stylists should be fired!!!

I 5 MIGLIORI ABITI:

1)  Anne Hathaway:   fa tanto "Pretty woman" nella scena dell'opera: da mozzare il fiato

2)  Nicole Kidman:  i suoi abiti non sono mai banali. L'ultima vera diva...

3)  Cate Blanchett:  è l'unica che osa sempre sui red carpet e ci azzecca sempre

4)  Michelle Williams:  va un po' sul sicuro ma il risultato è super femminile e romantico

5)  Jennifer Lawrence: semplicemente sexy! Anche se mi ricorda una copia meno "pettoruta" della Johansson*

1)  Anne Hathaway: she looks like "Pretty woman" in the opera scene: breathtaking
2)  Nicole Kidman:  she never chooses trivial gowns. The last real diva...

Dopo il principe William, anche Jamie Hince ha deciso di sposare la sua Kate. L'annuncio è stato accolto con grande entusiasmo dalla stampa internazionale che ha cercato sin da subito di capire chi avrebbe disegnato il suo abito da sposa. Prima è stato fatto il nome di Vivienne Westwood. Poi si è detto (utopicamente) che Kate Moss ci avrebbe pensato da sola. Alla fine la notizia ufficiale è questa: sarà John Galliano, suo amico da sempre, ad occuparsene. L'unico problema è che Galliano è stato arrestato un paio di giorni fa... Beh, in fondo anche Kate aveva avuto i suoi problemi con la legge con lo scandalo cocaina. Viene proprio da dire: chi si somiglia, si piglia!!!

After Prince William, also Jamie Hince has decided to marry his Kate. The announcement has been hailed by international press which had immediately tried to discover who would have been designed her wedding dress. First it was named Vivienne Westwood. Then it seemed Kate Moss had decided to design it by herself. At the end this is the official news: the designer of the wedding dress will be John Galliano, her long-time pal. The only one problem is that Galliano was arrested just few days ago... Well, even Kate had problems with justice in the past because of the cocaine scandal. We have to say it: birds of a feather flock together!!!

Sembra impossibile ma non avevo ancora dedicato un post a Lady Gaga... Solo che dopo l'apparizione a "Good Morning America" di qualche giorno fa (foto in alto) ho avuto un'illuminazione. Dove avevo già visto quei vomitevoli impianti facciali??? Ma sì certo! Su Orlan, un'artista francese che dalla metà degli anni '80 si fa " modificare" chirurgicamente. Così mi è venuto in mente che, per quanto Gaga sia geniale, certe sue trovate stilistiche non sono in realtà tutta farina del suo sacco... Comunque bisogna ammetterlo, non ci si stanca mai dei suoi look bizzarri!

It seems weird but I hadn't posted yet about Lady Gaga... But after her appearance on "Good Morning America" just few days ago (picture above) I had a flash of inspiration. Where had I seen those sickening facial implants before??? Yes, of course! On Orlan, a French artist who, from Eighties, has undergone surgery to modify her body. So I thought that, even if Lady Gaga is a genius, some of her outrageous outfits are not exactly her own work... Anyway we must admit,  we're never tired  of her bizzarre looks!

Everybody loves Pucci

Prima di Peter Dundas, Pucci era un marchio conosciuto quasi esclusivamente per le stampe colorate e dai motivi geometrici. Poi nel 2009 c'è stata (finalmente) una svolta. Dundas ha preso le redini del brand e gli ha dato una nuova anima più rock 'n roll e sexy. Non a caso, ora, gli abiti di Pucci sono i più indossati dalle celebrity (e i più desiderati da me!!!)... Peter, chiamami!!!

Before Peter Dundas, Pucci had been known almost just because its colourful and geometric patterns. Then, in 2009, there was (finally) a turning point. Dundas has taken the reins of the brand and given it a brand new soul, more rock 'n roll and sexier than ever. In fact, today, Pucci dresses are the most worn by celebrities (and the most desirable by myself!!!)... Peter, call me!!!

Oggi esce in Italia "The black swan": la mia poltroncina al cinema è già prenotata!!! Dicono che il film sia molto bello e poi l'ambientazione nel mondo del balletto è già un buon motivo per andarlo a vedere. Però devo stare attenta; sembra che la "cigno_mania" sia contagiosa...

"The black swan" opens in Italy today: my seat has already booked!!! The movie seems to be really beautiful and the setting concerning with the ballet's world is, definetely, a good reason for going to the cinema. But I better watch out; the "swan_mania" seems to be contagious...

Elisabetta e Belen si sfidano, ma a colpi di abiti! Sanremo è alle porte e ieri sono state svelate le mise che le due bonazze indosseranno sul palco dell'Ariston. Belen vestirà Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Fendi, Fausto Puglisi (pupillo di Dolce&Gabbana) e Dior. La Canalis invece alternerà Emilio Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, Versace ,Vivienne Westwood e Armani. Tanta attenzione su di loro è anche comprensibile. Alla fine chi è che guarda Sanremo per le canzoni??

How to be fashionable on a plane

Domani mi appresto a tornare a Milano e da lì, nel week-end, partirò per raggiungere la Sicilia e il mio stupendo ragazzo... Con tutti gli aerei che ho preso quest'anno sono, a tutti gli effetti, una mini jet setter. Ma qual'è l'abbigliamento ideale per chi si sposta da un aeroporto all'altro?? Io preferisco puntare sulla comodità senza però rinunciare ad una sana e buona dose di fashion. Cappelli, sciarpe e occhiali sono i miei migliori amici di viaggio: danno colore e stile senza essere troppo ingombranti. Qualche esempio di perfette gira-mondo?? Cameron Diaz, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie e Sienna Miller.

Tomorrow I'm coming back to Milan and from there, in the week-end, I'm gonna take an airplane to reach the Sicily and my stunning boyfriend... All the planes I've taken during this year earned me the status of little jet setter. But, what is the perfect outfit for travelling by plane?? I prefer opting for a confortable look without renouncing to a good dose of fashion. Hats, scarves and sunglasses are my travelling best friends: they give you colour and style and they're not so intrusive. Any example of fashionable globetrotter?? Cameron Diaz, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller.
