She was Coco and I was Karl

Mercoledì abbiamo scattato l'ultimo servizio del corso di Shooting (Sigh! Sigh!) e sinceramente credo di essere riuscita a chiudere in bellezza con delle foto davvero spassose. La mia fidata modella, Benedetta, ha interpretato una moderna Coco Chanel (il tema era appunto l'interpretazione di uno brand...) mentre io, udite, udite, mi sono calata nell'emblematiche vesti di Karl Lagerfeld! Ah ah ah! Ci è venuto il mal di pancia dalle risate... D'ora in avanti chiamatemi "KARLA"!   ;-)

Wednesday was our last day of Shooting course (Sigh! Sigh!) and, onestly, I think I finished in a wonderful way taking some funny pics. My favourite model, Benedetta, played a modern Coco Chanel (in fact, the theme was the interpretation of a brand...) while I wore Karl Lagerfeld's clothes! LOL! We had so much fun... From now on, call me "KARLA"!   ;-)

Tutto può suddere sul set quando dai come tema un titolo tanto vago come "Out of the blue"... Anche ritrovarsi con maglietta bagnata e capelli gocciolanti! Volevo rendere l'idea di una sirena trasformata in donna e... cosa rende meglio l'idea di una donna se non jeans e maglietta bianca??? Se poi ci metti anche i favolosi orecchini prestati dalla mia "cucciolona" il risultato non può che essere strepitoso!!!

Everything can happen on the set, when you've got a so vague theme like "Out of the blue"... Even modeling on wet t-shirt and trickling hair! I wanted to express the idea of a mermaid turned into a real woman, and... is there something more "human" than a white T-shirt and jeans??? And the if you accessorize the look with the amazing earrings lent by my "sweetie" the result must be fantastic!!!

Cannes 2011: and the winner is... Gwen Stefani!

Tutti pensano che solo perchè il Festival di Cannes riguardi i film, le star più brillanti devono essere le attrici... Sbagliato! Se c'è una persona che con il suo stile ha sbaragliato tutta la concorrenza quella è Gwen Stefani. Non solo sui red carpet (dove ha indossato una tuta di Stella McCartney, una abito della sua linea L.A.M.B. e uno stupendo Armani Privè) ma anche nelle uscite in yatch: è sempre perfetta! E poi, vogliamo parlare del marito??? :-)

Everybody thinks that just because Cannes Festival is about movies, the most shining stars must be actresses... Wrong! If there's a person who has shocked for her tremendous style that's Gwen Stefani. Not just on red carpets (where she wore a Stella McCarteny's jumpsuit, a L.A.M.B. gown and a fantastic Armani Privé) but even on board of a yatch: she's always perfect! And then, shall we talk about her husband??? :-)

Oggi sono andata a vedere la mostra di Michel Comte "Crescendo fotografico" alla Triennale. Vi invito ad andarci perchè è davvero bella, solo mi è presa un po' di rabbia nel pensare che alcune di quelle belle foto una volta venivano pubblicate anche su riviste come Glamour ( e non solo Vogue o Vanity Fair ) mentre ora si vedono solo immagini scadenti... Beh, queste sono le mie 10 preferite.

Today I went to the Triennale to see Michel Comte's photography exhibition. I recommend you to attend it because is really interesting, but I was also dissapointed by the fact that some of those beautiful pictures once were published also by magazines like Glamour (and not only Vogue or Vanity Fair), while now they choose just bad photos. By the way, those are my 10 favourite pictures.

I'd like that bikini... and that body too!

Tutte pronte per la prova costume??? Ovviamente no! Primo perchè bisogna ancora lavore sul piano fisico, secondo perchè non ho ancora pensato a quali costumi comprare quest'anno... Sfogliando il catalogo di Calzedonia in cerca di idee sono rimasta un po' delusa quindi mi sono buttata sulla bibbia del beachwear (e delle modelle...): Sport Illustrated Swimsuit!!! Lo ammetto: non ho trovato solo i costumi perfetti ma anche il fisico perfetto. Secondo voi è possibile comprarlo insieme al bikini?!?!?

Are you ready for the beachwear season??? Of course not! First of all I have to work out on my body, second thing I haven't thought enough about the bikinis I should buy... I flipped through Calzedonia's catalogue looking for nice ideas but It was a bit boring so I consulted the beachwear's (and models'...) bible: Sport Illustrated Swimsuit!!! I must admit: not only have I found the perfect bathing suit but also the perfect body. In your opinion, is it possible to buy it with the  bikini?!?!?

Pimp my ride

Chi, come me, è stato fan del programma di Mtv "Pimp my ride" capirà il mio entusiasmo di fronte a questa fantastica Ducati! Il proprietario è il fidanzato di mia sorella che ha deciso per un restyling completo in stile americano della sua due ruote: tutti i pezzi sono originali della Ducati meccanica e i colori e le decorazioni sono frutto del suo genio creativo. Anche chi non è un grande amante delle moto si inchinerebbe di fronte a questo pezzo unico... Quando posso farci un giro???

Who, as me, was fan of the Mtv programme "Pimp my ride" will understand my enthusiasm about this stunning Ducati! The owner is my sister's boyfriend who decided for a complete restyling of his motorbike in a American way: every new parts are original Ducati's pieces and the colours and the decorations are due to his creative vein . Even who is not a motorbike's lover would kneel in front of this unique piece... When Can I go for a ride???
