Emporio Armani looks (too much) like Chanel

E' pur vero che nella moda tutto è già stato fatto e quindi non c'è da meravigliarsi se molte volte alcune collezioni ricordano altre del passato... però certi abiti apparsi sulle passerelle milanesi mi sono sembrati assurdamente vicini a quelli di altri brand francesi. Ma sì basta con i misteri, mi riferisco alla collezione di Francesco Scognamiglio e a quella di Roberto Cavalli che mi hanno ricordato troppo lo stile "Tisciano" di Givenchy. In particolare gli abiti delle ultime collezioni couture. E poi vogliamo parlare di Emporio Armani??? Teoricamente Armani, praticamente Chanel. Già la scelta del binomio bianco/nero poteva essere un indizio; poi si sono aggiunti anche accessori praticamente identici (le scarpe su tutti) e decorazioni floreali che richiamavano le camelie tanto amate da Coco Chanel e da indagato Armani è diventato colpevole. Più che di una sfilata mi sembra di parlare di una partita a Cluedo...

Everything in fashion has already been made, so It's not strange to see collections which look alike others in the past... but some creations seen on Milan catwalks are for me too similiar to others of french brands. I'm talking about the collection of Francesco Scognamiglio and Roberto Cavalli that are really close to Tisci style for Givenchy. Especially his couture gowns. And what about Emporio Armani??? theoretically Armani, pratically Chanel. The black & white binomial could be a clue; then I saw the almost identical accessorizes (the shoes in particular) and the floral decorations too similar to Coco Chanel's beloved camelia and bang! Armani was pronounced guilty. Wait a minute. Am I describing a fashion runway or a Cluedo game?

Dagli yacht alle crociere... ieri sera vi ho parlato dei miei scatti "ambientati" su di una lussuosissima imbarcazione, stamani della collezione Cruise ("crociera", per l'appunto..) di Chanel. Lagerfeld come al solito ci stupisce con show favolosi in location da sogno: l'anno scorso era stata Saint-Tropez, quest'anno Cap d'Antibes. E il front-row pullulava di star tutte firmate con la doppia C. Ecco qua le 3 star meglio vestite e i miei 5 look preferiti dalla sfilata...
