Domani non è soltanto il giorno delle tanto attese nozze di Kate Moss e del principe Alberto ma è anche l'inizio ufficiale dei saldi estivi! Yuppi Yuppi! Per evitare spese folli e scellerate io ho già adocchiato quelli che saranno i trend autunnali, e se volete un consiglio buttatevi sui vestiti floreali. Sì sembrerà anche strano ma questa fantasia tanto primaverile quest'anno è stata talmente surclassata dalle righe che doveva per forza prendersi una rivincita. Quindi il prossimo autunno/inverno sarà tutto uno sbocciar di rose, peonie ecc. Sempre meglio delle foglie secche...

To avoid crazy purchases, I've just taken a look to the next season's trends and if you need an advice I suggest you to buy floral dresses. Yes, I know it seems weird but a so-Spring pattern this year has been outclassed by stripes, so a revenge could have been possible. Then in few months it will be just about roses, peonies, ecc. Certainly better than dry leaves...

What I love on models that I'd hate on boyfriends

Ieri sono iniziate le sfilate maschili milanesi per la Primavera/Estate 2012 e come sempre se ne sono viste delle belle... Tra le sfilate che ho preferito fino ad adesso è in testa quella di Burberry, super colorata e con motivi ispirati all'Africa. Se ci penso un attimo però, mi rendo conto che la maggior parte delle cose che adoro sulle passerelle mi farebbero solo ridere se indossate dal mio fidanzato o da qualsiasi altro uomo nella vita di tutti i giorni. Giacche con decori cartoon? Completi fucsia? Modelli, avete il mio benestare; uomini, tenetevi jeans e maglietta.

Menswear Spring/Summer 2012 fashion week started yesterday in Milan and designers, as usually,  showed very interesting collections... My favourite until now is Burberry, with colourful clothes and African-inspired patterns. But if I think for a while, I'll realize that the majority of things that I love on catwalks I'd consider it ridicolous if worn by my boyfriend or real men. Jackets with cartoon decorations? Fuchsia suits? Models, you can wear them; men, do not take your jeans and t-shirt off.

The best from Pitti: Ledaotto

In questi giorni sono stata in giro a Firenze in veste di giornalista per Full Magazine per "spulciare" tra le pre-collezioni Primavera/Estate 2012 di Pitti e mi sono letteralmente innamorata!!! No il mio amato fidanzato può stare tranquillo; non parlo di ragazzi ma di gioielli... Mi riferisco infatti alle creazioni di due giovani ragazze aretine, Simona Cassai e Marta Saletti, in arte Ledaotto (marchio che prende il nome dal nome dei rispettivi nonni...). I loro gioielli non sono solo belli e originali ma nascono da un'idea, secondo me, geniale: le piante architettoniche di alcuni tra i più famosi edifici storici e religiosi, come il Pentagono, San Pietro o il teatro antico di Taormina. Della serie, come essere chic e "acculturate" allo stesso tempo...

During this week I had been in Florence as a fashion journalist for "Full Magazine" to wander around Pitti woman pre-collection's stands and I literally fell in love!!! My lovely boyfriend doesn't have to be worry, I'm talking about jewellery, not men... In fact, I'm mentioning the creations of two young girls from Arezzo, Simona Cassai e Marta Saletti, designers of Ledaotto (the brand takes ispiration from the name of their grandparents...). Their jewels are not just beautiful and fresh, but come out from a brilliant idea: the blueprint of famous historical or religious iconic buildings like the Pentagon, the St. Peter's Basilica or Taormina's ancient theatre. I should say, how to be chic and cultivated at the same time...
