Da Vogue a Harper's Bazaar sono tutte un tripudio di righe e colori by Miuccia. In più Zara sta volta ci ha messo proprio del suo. Se normalmente molti suoi capi ricordano le collezioni dei grandi brand ora la somiglianza è diventata proprio spudorata. Però come fargliene una colpa; anche il diavolo veste Prada...

Is It just me or Prada Spring/Summer collection is everywhere??? Haven't you noticed it? Just have a look to all fashion magazines' covers around the world.... From Vogue to Harper's Bazaar it's all Miuccia's stripes & colours. Then Zara is heavily spreading that addiction. If It's normal to find a resemblance to big designer labels in its clothes, this time they look exactly alike. But at the end we can't blame Zara; even the devil wears Prada...

Me, myself & my garden

La Primavera è bella perchè ti fa venire voglia di vivere... però questo ti crea anche tanti pensieri per la testa. A volte credo, anzi sono convinta, che dovremmo pensare di meno e goderci di più quello che abbiamo. Io in questi giorni ho provato a godermi tre cose bellissime della mia vita: l'amicizia (e il mio "nipotino"), il mio Redford e il mio giardino...

Spring is beautiful because makes you want to live... but this fact gives you more reasons to think. Sometimes we should think less and live more what we've got. In the last few days I've tried to enjoy three amazing things in my life: friendship (and my "little nephew"), my dog Redford and my garden...

The brand new Miu Miu e-store

Il mio compitino per oggi era di fare ricerche di brand comunication su Miu Miu, la sorellina di Prada...   Beh, ho scoperto che giusto ieri è stato aperto il suo nuovo e-store ufficiale!!! Sarebbe tutto perfetto se non per due piccoli particolari:

1)  I favolosi sandali colorati della nuova campagna pubblicitaria non si possono comprare  :-(

2)  I favolosi sandali colorati della nuova campagna pubblicitaria sono troppo costosi per le mie 

      tasche   :-)

CAN I HAVE THEM???

My homework for today has been to make brand comunication's research on Miu Miu, Prada's little sister...   Well, I've discovered that just yesterday the brand new official e-store opened!!! Everything would be perfect except for two little things:

1)   The fabulous coloured sandals can't be purchased on the web...   :-(

2)   The fabulous coloured sandals are too expensive for me...   :-)

10 things to know... about attending a wedding

Ieri mi ha chiamato una mia cara amica per dirmi che parteciperà a un matrimonio: era già in agitazione per la scelta dell'abito... Mi ha chiesto un consiglio. Cosa le ho risposto?? Di leggere la mia lista qua sotto!!!

Yesterday a dear friend of mine told me she is going to attend a wedding: she was already in agitation because of the dress to choose... She asked me an advise. What did I answer?? Read my list below!!!

10 COSE DA SAPERE... QUANDO SI PARTECIPA A UN MATRIMONIO

1)     Non vestirsi di bianco!!! Non siete voi a sposarvi...

2)     Evitare abiti troppo appariscenti. L'attenzione dev'essere comunque riservata

         alla sposa.

3)     Scegliete l'abito in base alla vostra età. Se siete giovani abiti sopra il

          ginocchio e un po' scollati possono andare benissimo..

4)     Le borse devono essere piccole, anzi minuscole. Niente "valigie": non

          state andando a lavoro

5)      Le scarpe si devono intonare al luogo del ricevimento. Ad esempio

           niente tacchi a spillo per i ricevimenti in ville con giardini. ( Non c'è cosa peggiore di

           vedere le invitate barcollare e "sprofondare" nell'erba )

6)      Assicuratevi di essere ben "abbinate" al vostro accompagnatore

7)      Per quanto il nero non sia più un tabù scegliete un colore diverso. 

           Avete tutto l'anno per vestirvi di nero.

8)      L'abito dev'essere comunque comodo. I matrimoni sono delle vere e proprie

           maratone!!!

9)      Per la funzione in chiesa si dice spesso di portare uno scialle per comprire le

           spalle nude: fatelo solo se lo sentite necessario

10)    Sorridete e divertitevi!!!

10 THINGS TO KNOW... ABOUT ATTENDING A WEDDING

1)      Do not wear white!!! You're not the bride...

2)     Don't choose eye-catching dresses. The attention must be on the bride...

3)     Choose the dress according to your age. If you're young over-the-knee

         and low-cut dresses are ok

4)     Bags must be small, rather tiny. You're not going to job...

5)     Shoes have to be matched with the wedding reception's place. 

         For instance, don't opt for high heels for a garden reception. ( There's nothing worse

         than a female guest who totters and sinks into the grass)

6)      Assure yourself to be matched with your partner

7)     Even if black is no more a tabù, choose a different colour.

         You can wear black all the year long

8)     The dress must be comfortable. Weddings are real marathons!!!

9)     If the wedding service takes place in a church you can bring a shawl to cover

         bared shoulders just if you consider it necessary

10)    Smile and enjoy the wedding!!!

How to rock your underwear

Non so se è così anche per voi, ma sono arcistufa dei servizi di moda primaverili dedicati alla lingeriè. O meglio, sono arcistufa di vedere sempre gli stessi scatti: modelle eteree con biancheria dai colori pastello che ricreano un moderno stile bucolico. Che noia!!! Un po' di fantasia, per favore. E poi bisogna dire che nessuna ragazza sana di mente si comprerebbe mai dei completini cipria, pesca, beige, ecc.. a meno di non voler avere lo stesso appeal sessuale di Bridget Jones. Volete il nome di una che in fatto di underwear ha capito tutto? Gwen Stefani! I suoi reggiseni colorati a vista sono una figata... Io consiglierei alle riviste di moda di prendere spunto da lei per i prossimi numeri: quest'anno gli abiti trasparenti sono di gran moda e allora mettiamoci sotto un bel push-up shock! Altro che donne-angelo! Meglio le "cattive ragazze"...

I don't know if you're thinking the same but I'm really fed up about Spring photoshoots concerning with lingeriè. Well, I should say I'm really fed up to see always the same shoots: ethereal models with pale lingeriè who recreate a modern bucolic mood. What a bore!!! Could we have something more creative, please? And then we must admit that no-one would buy powder, peach, beige underwears unless you wanted to have the same sex appeal of Bridget Jones. Should I mention someone really cool about lingerie? Gwen Stefani! Her coloured bras are definitely hot... I would suggest to all fashion magazines to take inspiration from her: sheer outfits are an hit this year, so... why don't wear a shock push-up underneath? Forget angel-women! "Bad girls" are funnier...

Yamamay bras are perfect to recreate Gwen Stefani's style...
